Christmas at Kilruane N.S.
On behalf of everybody at Kilruane N.S., a heartfelt thank you to you all for your overwhelming support during our Christmas concerts last week. A sincere thank you to everybody who helped in any way to make last week a week to remember for us all, particularly for our children.

Christmas Gifts
Just a reminder! Christmas is an expensive time for you all! Please do not purchase Christmas gifts for teachers/staff! Thank you!
School Closures
The school will close at 12 noon this Friday 20th of December for our Christmas break. The bus will run as usual. The school will re-open on Monday 6th of January.
Handball
Congratulations to Cormac Doheny, Rory Grace and James Loughnane who recently qualified to represent the county on the Tipperary Primary Schools Handball team . The team consisted of 6 boys chosen from Primary schools all over Tipperary….so half the team came from Kilruane N.S.!! To go
one better, the team recently defeated Kerry, Clare and Cork to take the Munster title at the Primary Schools Handball Munster Final in Cappa. What a fantastic achievement for these three boys!
GAA Tablequiz
Well done to the two teams who recently represented our school at the Tipperary GAA Tablequiz North Final in Cloughjordan. Unfortunately, despite putting in a lot of preparation for the event and a fine performance on the night, we didn’t make it through to the County final this year. Once again, a big thank you to Mr. Williams for his help during the run-up to the event.
