Building Update

Please be assured that work on our extension is on-going, albeit behind the scenes. There are extensive tendering processes and procedures that must be strictly adhered to when a Board of Management is charged with the management of a project of this size and the spend of an associated budget. Since the last update, we have been sanctioned a second ASD class and associated facilities, meaning that the original project had to be redefined in relation to securing additional funding. We hope to provide you all with a definitive time line in the new school year. In the meantime, the school has been granted temporary accommodation to ensure we have proper classroom accommodation for the children while we are building. The prefabs have worked really well for us this past year. Exciting times at Kilruane NS!

Farewell

It is always with a little hint of sadness that we say goodbye to our friends in Sixth class every year. We are so proud of you all and we wish you the very best of luck with your future studies at your chosen secondary schools. Goodbye to Aaron, Adam, Cian, Darragh, Dara, Hannah and Martin.

Go n-éirí an bothar libh go léir!

Summer Holidays

The school will close for the Summer holidays on Tuesday 26th June at 12:30. We will re-open for the new school year on Thursday 29th August.  It has been a great year for our school, lots of wonderful memories and more to be made. Thank you all for you continued support. Have a lovely Summer and let’s hope the sun starts shining and keeps shining!
